Planet Wisdom Conference
March 16-17, 2012
What is Planet Wisdom?
Planet Wisdom is a student discipleship conference with a goal of helping students to see the world from God’s perspective.
This year the theme is 24/7/66: living with the Word. During high energy sessions on Friday night and Saturday students will be trained and equipped to:
- Articulate the evidence for the credibility of Scripture
- Understand the basic structure of the Bible
- Use three approaches to studying the Bible on their own
When and Where is Planet Wisdom?
Planet Wisdom is March 16-17 at Hylton Memorial Chapel in Woodbridge.
Friday night doors open at 6:30 pm, and the conference will be from 7:30-10:30 pm. Saturday morning doors open at 8:30 am with the first session starting at 9:00 am. Lunch is from 12:30-2:00 pm and the conference ends at 4:30 pm.
Who can attend?
We are encouraging high school small groups to attend together. We won’t be spending the night together at church as a youth group and would love for students to spend the night together in the home of someone in their small group. Small groups will also coordinate their own transportation to and from the conference.
What if I’m not in a small group and want to go?
If you are not in a small group, we will connect you with a group that is going and you can attend the conference with them.
How do I register for the conference?
Online registration is now closed. The cost of the conference is $46. Call the office for space availability 703.813.1951.
What about food during the conference?
You will need to eat dinner before the conference begins on Friday night. There will be a 90-minute lunch break on Saturday afternoon. Small groups will have lunch at a restaurant near the Hylton Chapel.
If you have any questions, please contact the Student Ministries Office at 703.813.1951.
